The current emphasis on integrating childrens facilities with family services and providing outreach services within the normalised setting of the school and community centre has resulted in a significant overlap of Scott & Rylands recent work into the public realm. Projects such as the Strathpine C&K Community Kindergarten, Early Childhood and Multiple Use Community Precinct, and the Inverell Community Services include not just Early Learning facilities but also facilities such as shared parkland, communal smart office hubs, public halls, mens sheds, yarning circles, designing for biodiversity, bushtucker training workshops & communal cafe & library areas. Our focus has been to design these facilities with a childs perspective always being our priority.
